(not counting the rare "QM" i7s - the ONLY quad core laptop processors intel makes.) all of which, including the i7s, are dual core or less.
This is talking about the normal, desktop processors only, not xeons (6-8 cores), extreme edition chips (4-6, hypertheading), or laptop processors. An i5 is a quad core without hyperthreading, and an i7 is a quad core with it. "These are facts"!? What in the world are you talking about? So an i7 is a much better choice for gaming or for any program that can utilize four cores of a processor. An i5 has two cores, with 4-way processing.
